Yemeni League: Ittihad Hadramaut Secures First Win with 4-2 Victory Over Helal Al-Hudaydah
Ittihad Hadramaut claimed their first victory of the 2025-2026 Yemeni General Football League season after defeating hosts Helal Al-Hudaydah 4-2 today, Thursday, at Al-Alafi Stadium in Al-Hudaydah, during the fourth round of the competition.
Helal Al-Hudaydah took an early lead in the 15th minute through Naseem Al-Shareef. However, Ittihad Hadramaut’s Abdullah Abdulqader equalized in the 26th minute, sending both teams into the interval level at 1-1.
Ittihad Hadramaut dominated the second half offensively, scoring three consecutive goals. Muslim Abdelilah put the visitors ahead in the 47th minute, followed by a third goal from Ahmed Jalal in the 52nd minute. Abdullah Abdulqader then secured his brace and his team's fourth goal in the 67th minute. In stoppage time (91+1'), Helal Al-Hudaydah managed to pull one back through Abbadi Bari.
With this result, Ittihad Hadramaut earns its first three points of the season to move into 11th place, while Helal Al-Hudaydah drops to 12th place with 1 point.
