Haitham Al-Asbahi has officially started his new role as the head coach of Wahda Sana'a FC (Al-Zaeem). He takes over from caretaker manager Ibrahim Al-Kahali, following his return from Jeddah after the national youth team's exit from the AFC Asian Cup group stage.

Al-Asbahi steps in after a brief transitional period managed by Ibrahim Al-Kahali. Despite losing his first match—the big derby against Al-Ahli—Al-Kahali successfully bounced back, leading the team to two consecutive wins against Shabab Al-Baydaa and Ittihad Ibb.

Al-Kahali is now expected to stay on as an assistant coach. Fans are excited to see the two former club stars reunite on the bench to bring stability and more victories to Al-Zaeem
