Wahda Sana'a provisionally claimed the top spot in the Yemeni First Division League after securing a commanding 4-2 away victory against Ittihad Hadramout this afternoon at the Seiyun Olympic Stadium, as part of the round 6 fixtures.

The hosts, Ittihad Hadramout, enjoyed an early breakthrough when striker Raed Badawi opened the scoring in the 16th minute, assisted by Hussein Fad'aq. However, Wahda Sana'a responded fiercely, turning the game around within just two minutes late in the first half. Qasim Al-Sharafi netted the equalizer in the 37th minute following a setup by Abdulrahman Al-Shami, and just a minute later, Mohamed Hashem struck the second, sending Wahda into the interval with a 2-1 lead.

Wahda Sana'a maintained their momentum in the second half. Qasim Al-Sharafi extended the lead in the 58th minute, scoring his second of the match after an assist from Jamil Al-Dubai. In the 67th minute, Abdulrahman Al-Shami scored the fourth goal for the visitors. Ittihad Hadramout managed to pull one back in the 84th minute through Raed Badawi's second goal of the day, sealing the final score at 4-2.

With this crucial win, Wahda Sana'a moves to 13 points at the top of the table, while Ittihad Hadramout remains 12th with 3 points.
